Thank you for the photos--I loved seeing the one of the two of you toasting your victorious arrival. I've been walking on air all day. Congrats again. Missing you terribly.
Kyle this your Uncle Jay. Your Aunt Linda sent me this link and I have to say it BLEW MY MIND!! What a wonderful achievement for the two of you! I am totally impressed with the “heart and drive” that you have, to plan and then carry out this trip. It is absolutely wonderful! I am proud, envious, jealous, and amazed for the pair of you. I don’t even remember the last time we had a conversation but hopefully you will see fit to sit with me and tell me of this adventure in person.
I have to tell you that there are two things that I have always wished I could do, but have not been able to make happen in my life, flying and sailing. It is ironic that you are doing both and very well I might add. I would love to hear from you and listen to stories of flying and sailing, two great loves of mine!
Your literary skills are amazing as well (chip off the old block). Unlike mine I might add.
As I read your blog and looked at your great photos tears came to my eyes as I remembered when I use to tickle and play with you and your little brother. I still have photos that I took of you both playing in the park. I am so proud of you!
Please be safe and know that I will be following you on your voyage now that I know of it. Send me pictures of Scotland…PLEASE.
I wish you both safe journey and I wish I were there.
